At 1HomeOffice, we provide reliable, professional packing and shipping services for everyday items, fragile goods, and high-value artwork. This Shipping Policy outlines how we process, pack, and ship orders, what customers can expect, and how we handle domestic and international shipments.

1. Processing & Handling Times

All shipments begin with professional preparation by our packing team.

Processing time:

  • Standard packages: 1–2 business days
  • Fragile, oversized, or special-handling items: 2–4 business days
  • Custom packaging or specialty requests: Additional time may be required (we will notify you)

    Processing time does not include carrier transit time.

2. Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery Windows

We ship through major carriers to ensure reliable delivery:

  • UPS
  • FedEx
  • DHL
  • USPS

Estimated transit times (provided by carriers):

  • Ground Shipping: 2–7 business days
  • Expedited Air: 1–3 business days
  • Overnight / Express: Next-day delivery
  • International: 3–10 business days, depending on destination & customs clearance

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping rates are based on:

  • Package weight
  • Dimensional (DIM) weight
  • Carrier service selected
  • Destination
  • Packaging requirements (fragile, oversized, etc.)

Customers receive a detailed quote before shipment is processed.

4. Local Pickup & In-Store Service

5. Tracking Information

Once your shipment is released to the carrier:

  • A tracking number will be sent via email or SMS.
  • Tracking updates come directly from the carrier.
  • If tracking information is delayed or missing, contact us for assistance.

6. International Shipping, Duties & Taxes

International shipments may incur:

  • Customs duties
  • VAT/GST
  • Import taxes
  • Brokerage fees

These charges are the responsibility of the recipient unless agreed otherwise.
Customs procedures may extend delivery times.

7. Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses

Customers must provide accurate and complete shipping details.
If a package is returned due to an incorrect or undeliverable address:

  • Additional shipping charges will apply to resend the package.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

8. Shipping Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Incorrect address details
  • Global or regional logistics issues

We will assist with tracking and communication, but carrier performance is outside
our control.

9. Lost or Damaged Shipments

Damaged Deliveries

If a shipment arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours and provide photos of the item and all packaging materials.
We will assist you in communicating with the carrier and submitting any applicable claim.

Please Note:

  • Carriers require original packaging for inspection.
  • Claim approval and compensation are determined solely by the carrier.
  • Items not packed by 1HomeOffice may not be eligible for coverage.
  • If no insurance was purchased, compensation is limited to the carrier’s standard liability.
  • 1HomeOffice is not responsible for damage caused by carrier handling.

Lost Packages

If tracking shows no movement or the carrier reports the package as lost, we can help initiate an inquiry with the carrier.

Important:

  • Investigation and claim timelines vary by carrier.
  • Compensation is only available if the shipment was insured.
  • All determinations are made by the carrier, not 1HomeOffice.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable for carrier delays or service failures.

10. Restricted or Non-Shippable Items

For safety and regulatory compliance, we cannot ship:

  • Hazardous or flammable materials
  • Illegal or restricted goods
  • Perishable items
  • Live animals
  • Certain liquids (depending on carrier regulations)

11. Packing & Insurance

Professional Packing

Items packed by our team follow carrier-approved standards and are eligible for optional insurance coverage.

Customer-Packed Items

Items packed by customers may not qualify for full insurance coverage if the packaging does not meet carrier guidelines.

Insurance Coverage

Insurance is optional and covers:

  • Damage
  • Loss
  • Theft (depending on carrier)

Insurance value must be declared before shipment.
